Opened in 1980, this place is a warren of paintings on cotton, cards and rocks, often inscribed with feel-good or creative quotes. John also hawks dusty hill-tribe embroidery and art, 'witch doctor' recipe books and other oddities. Everything is overpriced but so much soul has gone into this unusual place it's worth spending a few baht here.
