David's Kitchen

Chiang Mai

A perennial favourite among well-heeled travellers, expat-owned David's Kitchen offers a bright, elegant atmosphere and level of service unparalleled in Chiang Mai. And the food is, well, pretty good. Dishes like prawn ravioli in lobster sauce are rousing and flavourful, while items on the long-standing set menu are well executed but unremarkable.

The attached wine and tapas bar Piccolo and its candlelit veranda are a good bet for live music after dinner. Best of all, every wine in the cellar can be ordered by the glass.
