Wat Tham Pha Plong

This beautiful and serene forest wát lies on the edge of the Chiang Dao massif. A steep naga stairway climbs through the forest to the rocky crevice where the revered meditation master Luang Pu Sim once practised. You'll feel far, far away from the tourist crowd here. Continue on the road about a kilometre past the Chiang Dao lodges to reach the parking lot for the temple.
