After sunset, this line of open-air restaurants – each claiming to be better than its neighbour – becomes a culinary supernova of outdoor barbecues, screaming staff, iced seafood trays and messy pavement seating. True, the vast majority of diners are foreign tourists, but this has little impact on the cheerful setting, the fun experience and the cheap bills.
