RomManee

Phuket Town

On Phuket Town's prettiest street, this boutique guesthouse certainly has style, with its turquoise-toned Sino-Portuguese exterior, varnished-concrete floors and great little lobby cafe DouBrew. The four spacious rooms amount to excellent value and have an arty, contemporary feel: wood floors, colour feature walls and tasteful lighting. Stairs are steep and there's no lift, but the team in charge is welcoming.

There's a less characterful branch, RomManee Classic, a block away.
