Box Poshtel

Phuket Town

True to its name, this popular budget spot has boxy four- to six-person dorms (some with air-con) and private rooms (all sharing bathrooms). They're basic places to crash only, but are spotless, secure and fairly priced, with comfortable beds. The helpful English-speaking owner runs things efficiently, and there's a downstairs bar-lounge, plus luggage lockers if you're checking out early. Book ahead.
