Hat Patong

Part of a budding Southeast Asian chain, this red-and-white block focuses on tidy, no-frills, modern-style accommodation. Rooms are a tight fit and some are a bit musty, but they're comfortable enough, with fold-out desks. While not an obvious first choice, it works if you just want a place to crash. Staff are helpful.
