Priew Wan Guesthouse

This long-running and reliable family-owned, yellow-washed guesthouse is only a 10-minute walk to the northern end of Hat Patong. It's hidden down a mostly residential soi along with a few food stalls. Though a little dated, it has sizeable, decently priced, well-scrubbed rooms with balcony, safe, fridge and TV. There are friendly staff and great low-season (April to October) discounts.
