The only beachfront hostel in Ko Lipe is housed in a contemporary-style concrete block on west Hat Pattaya. Showers are shared, but you get private lockers, wi-fi, the on-site Davy Jones' Locker dive school (divers get a discount) and the beach location is ace. Upstairs are six simple but comfortable air-con private rooms with en suites.
