Takieng

Takieng is the most popular and attractive of the two open-air Thai restaurants beneath stilted tin roofs on Hwy 4, 2.5km north of Khao Lak Town. It steams fresh fish in sweet green curry, does a scintillating chicken or pork lâhp, bubbles up beautifully spiced curries, and fries squid in a delicious chilli paste. Service is impeccable.
