Nangthong Bay Resort

The large turquoise pool at this unpretentious, reasonably priced beach resort dominates lush grounds that ramble to the sand. Freestanding big bungalows follow a minimalist black-and-white chic design, with comfy beds, balconies and open-air showers. Cheaper rooms are set back from the beach. Overall it's a worthwhile option for the beachfront location. On the downside, breakfast is disappointing.
