Chanalai Hillside Resort

Phuket

This high-rise building set around a large pool sports terrific sea views from every angle, though they're best from the smaller rooftop pool. Rooms are clean and modern, and feature glassed-off bathtubs, king-size beds and rain showers. The slightly off-beach location provides quiet nights but is still close to restaurants and amenities. The staff are helpful and attentive. Great low-season discounts.
