Glur

Top choice in Ao Nang

Glur is a fabulous combination guesthouse and hostel, designed, built, owned and operated by a talented Thai architect and his wife. This quiet complex incorporates shipping containers, glass, and moulded and polished concrete to create sumptuous rooms with beds on platforms and dorms with curtained-off turquoise bunk beds. There's an open-air kitchen, and it's set in a lovely garden with a small pool.

Family rooms (2400B) have two bedrooms. It's a walkable 1.5km northeast of Ao Nang proper.
