Ban Sainai

Top choice in Ao Nang

Away off the main strip (there's a daily shuttle to the beach), Ban Sainai sports cushy, thatched faux-adobe bungalows in burnt orange, sprinkled amid the palms and crushed up so close to the surrounding karst cliffs you can almost kiss them. Rooms are very comfortable, with jacuzzis in the most expensive ones, and come with big balconies. There's a great pool, too.
