Sambusa Two Tables Restaurant

Zanzibar Town

This simple place did indeed start with just two small tables, but now caters for larger numbers – although it's still in the family house. Here's the routine: visit first to ask what's on offer; if you like it make a reservation, then come along later to sample numerous Zanzibari dishes.

There are no set opening hours; you can come for lunch or dinner, times by advance arrangement. To get here, turn off Victoria St, go past the second-hand plumbing yard, and round to the back of the house.
