Bead by Bead

Run by the local Maasai Women's Bead Co-op, this is the pick of the roadside souvenir shops that you find in this corner of the country. It all revolves around the bead here, with jewellery, place mats and other decorative pieces. There's also a picnic site and public toilets. It's 1.1km northwest of Makuyuni, along the road to Mto wa Mbu.
