Mango Beach House

Top choice in Zanzibar Island

With only 6 bedrooms and an open-plan living area like a lounge on the beach, Mango Beach House is a small and sociable place. Rooms are simple but neat with artful decor and colourful fabrics, while the garden has daybeds and driftwood furniture. The attached Kiddo's Cafe is excellent (though meals need advance ordering) and attracts nonguests from nearby hotels.

Two rooms can be combined into a family suite, and self-catering is sometimes available (two of the rooms have attached kitchens).
