Since 1939 Ricebag Museum

Eastern Taiwan & Taroko National Park

Originally founded in 1939 as a tiny vendor of rice dumplings and sweet potatoes, this store has morphed into a large and appealingly chaotic showcase for Chishang's ever-expanding range of rice-based comestibles. It's fronted by historic railway carriages in which you can picnic on the store's wares, including wildly popular lunch boxes.
