Chu Jun

Taichung

Chu Jun ('maggot bacteria') is a cult space that marries Japanese schoolgirl culture with the grotesque. The shop sells '70s Japanese paraphernalia and showcases the installations and designs of its illustrator owner. The gallery is devoted to works by Taiwanese and visiting artists; we saw an ode to '90s Japanese cult and video-game art by a French illustrator.
