Lukang Folk Arts Museum

The handsome building of this museum was designed by a Japanese architect (who also designed the Presidential Office Building in Taipei) and built in 1919 for an affluent local family. You'll get to walk through sumptuous rooms housing the museum's huge collection of ordinary household items dating from the Qing dynasty to the turn of the 20th century.
