The old-world charm from this Japanese-era hotel is a bit faded, but it's still Alishan's top hotel. The food in the restaurant is so-so, but the outdoor cafe has a lovely setting among the cherry trees. Make sure to get the hotel to pick you up, as it's a bit of a walk from the village car park or train station.
