Thera Inn

Penghu Islands

With its blue-domed top-knot and raised, semi-rural location above Nanhu town, Thera Inn is a very distinctive eight-room B&B with owners who can organise snorkelling trips but don't speak English.

Prices rise slightly at weekends but drop 25% October to March. From the ferry, walk east along the dock then take the last left and climb gently for around 800m and the inn is on your left. It's the second of two very distinctive white buildings with deep blue detailing, conjuring up a sense of the Greek islands.
