Epicurean Cafe

Eastern Taiwan & Taroko National Park

This bright yellow cafe has an attractive open-sided perch for tasting local Tao food or sipping coffee with views across stone-walled lotus ponds towards Lanyu's coral coastline.

Full traditional meals come with yams, wild vegetables, seafood and soup. From 8pm it morphs into a bar, at least if there are any customers. It's a block inland, two doors west of Yuren church.
