The only restaurant in Taipei to be awarded three Michelin stars is an elegant, romantically lit space that serves excellent Cantonese cuisine, including softly steamed dim sum. Its signature dish, the roast baby duck, must be ordered two days in advance. Reservations essential and there's a smart dress code. It's within the five-star Palais de Chine hotel next to Taipei Main Station.
The menu is massive and includes some Sichuan- and Taiwan-inspired dishes. You can even order a Michelin Set Menu that will put you back around NT$10,000.
