This upmarket restaurant where locals and expats bring their guests offers some of the best seafood dishes anywhere in Taiwan. The menu has no prices, but rest assured it's an honest establishment. You can ask for a quote before ordering or request the much briefer ‘tourists' menu' which comes with the prices.
The name Xun Zhi Wu (蟳之屋) means 'House of the Giant Mud Crab' and the English-speaking owner hails from Penghu Island. This means you can't go too wrong ordering crab dishes and Penghu specialities like stir-fried rice noodles with pumpkin rice (炒南瓜米線, chǎo nánguā mǐxiàn) and squid balls (花支丸, huāzhīwán).
