National Kaohsiung Centre for the Arts (Weiwuying)

This 9.9-hectare, Dutch-designed building resembling a giant stingray is the premier centre for art and culture in southern Taiwan. It has a state-of-the-art opera house, a play house, concert and recital halls, and an outdoor theatre. Besides hosting performances by international and Asian troupes, Weiwuying organises activities for the community on a regular basis, like film screenings and workshops.
