MiBaNai

Taitung

Popular with tour groups, MiBaNai is Taitung's classic address for local indigenous cuisine, including stir-fried venison, roast salt fish, betel-flower salad (summer only) and their signature baby corns wrapped in bacon.

Friendly waitstaff wear costumes that seem almost a parody of traditional culture, but English is spoken and the menu is helpfully translated. The distinctive green-roofed building is 2km north of the Railway Art Village, 3km southeast of the train station. Reservations are advisable.
