This corner shop is famed for its 'steel pipe tea' (鋼管紅茶; gāngguǎn hóngchá; from NT$25), which is sent down to the serving counter via a system of tubes.
There are three variants: black, milk or caffeine-free almond tea (杏仁茶; xìngrén chá) with no real sign of tea in it whatever. To nibble, try one of three flavours of sponge finger 'macaroons' (NT$18) or perhaps a leaf-wrapped sticky rice parcel.
