Parkview Hotel

Hualien

Attractions here are the spa, climbing wall, squash courts and a large swimming pool in the garden. The Parkview was Hualien's first five-star hotel when built in 1993, but it's now facing newer competition so you can sometimes score B&B deals from just NT$2800 or spa packages from NT$3200.

It's in the hills above the harbour. Pets can stay for free.
