It's well worth the short but steep drive up to these spotless, modern and comfortable kitchen-equipped bungalows with magnificent views over the Teavapiti Pass to Huahine (look for whales from your terrace from October to November). But what really stands out here are friendly hosts Laura and Kevin, who go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a great time.
There's a small bar (with excellent prices), and for meals besides breakfast (1500 CFP) a catering service can deliver to your door. You're also only 1.5km from Uturoa, which is a hot and sticky, but doable, walk from the pension. There's a two-night minimum stay.
