Hotel Atiapiti

Ra'iatea & Taha'a

This mellow beachside spot has a beautiful but remote location next to Marae Taputapuatea and has a great pontoon to jump off for snorkelling (a manta ray swam by when we passed). The kitchen-equipped bungalows seem expensive for how basic they are, but the site and service make up for this – host Marie is also knowledgeable about Maraie Taputapuatea.

Breakfast and lunch are served at the homey and popular restaurant, and there are a few basic nearby dinner options if you have a car. Airport transfers are 4500 CFP. The beach and spaciousness makes this a good choice for families.
