Crêperie Toatea

Top choice in Mo'orea

Not your average crêperie, this venture is renowned for its gourmet crêpes prepared to order by an Alsatian chef. Where else could you savour a crêpe stuffed with fresh fish in white-wine sauce? Another draw is the setting – it’s inside the Hilton Moorea, on the pontoon that leads to the overwater bungalows (nonguests are welcome).

At night the water is lit up so you can watch rays and blacktip sharks swim below. Pricey, but well worth it for the experience. It’s such a shame that service is so slow.
