Mark’s Place Moorea

Mo'orea

The vast, lush garden and creative, smartly finished bungalows – it helps that the American owner is a carpenter – make this a good option on Mo’orea, but we’ve heard the odd grumble about variable service. No two units are alike, but they are all equipped to a high standard and competitively priced. The amply sized Manu and Opuhi units are ideal for families.

It’s away from the beach and just about everything else besides the Haapiti surf break, but bike and kayak hire (1000 CFP per day) make getting around less of a chore. There’s a minimum stay of two nights.
