Popular with English-speaking visitors (the owner is from New Zealand), this few-frills complex on the eastern shore of Cook's Bay has been around for years; although its 30 bungalows are showing their age a tad, they are serviceable and well organised. Note that the cheaper units are fan-cooled.

Amenities include a restaurant and bar on stilts over the water, which offer prime sunset-watching. The beach here is minimal (a breakwater fronts most of the property), but you can swim or snorkel off a wooden pier that extends over the lagoon to a magnificent drop-off. Bikes, kayaks and wi-fi cost extra.
