Fenua Mata’i’oa

Mo'orea

After something extra-special? Make a beeline for this tropical cocoon with spiffing water frontage. Here you’ll go giddy over the exuberant, slightly over-the-top interior. Resting in leafy grounds, the five suites are dripping with colourful paintings, silks and antiques. A good choice for honeymooners who are after some serious cosseting and privacy but don't want to stay in a resort.

Half-board costs an extra 11,000 CFP per person. The only downside is that although Fenua Mata’i’oa has lagoon access, there’s no beach.
