Whymper Stube

Zermatt

This cosy bistro, attached to the Monte Rosa Hotel that Whymper left from to climb the Matterhorn in 1865, is legendary for its excellent raclette and fondues. The icing on the cake is a segmented pot bubbling with three different cheese fondues. Service is relaxed and friendly, tables are packed tightly together, and the place – all inside – buzzes come dusk.
