Schäferstube

Just the kind of warm, rustic, snugly lit hut where you'll pray for the flakes to fall in winter. The Schäferstube is as traditional as they come, with low timber ceilings, huge cowbells and hunting trophies galore. It's run by shepherd Paul Julen, so expect succulent cuts of lamb, cooked on a charcoal grill, alongside Valais raclette and cheese fondue.
