Eiger seems close enough to touch from the terrace of this endearingly old-fashioned mountain hut. Platters of cured meats and Hobelchäs (Alpine cheese) are just the ticket after a long hike. More substantial options include homemade bratwurst with rösti. Kids are well catered for with their own menu and playground.
