Run by dream duo Myriam and Bruno, Cafe 3692 is a delight. Bruno is a talented carpenter and has let his imagination run riot – a gnarled apple tree is an eye-catching artwork, a mine-cart trolley cleverly transforms into a grill, and the ceiling is a wave of woodwork. Garden herbs and Grindelwald-sourced ingredients are knocked up into tasty specials.
The Alpine teas are superb, as are Heidi's delectable pastries and pralines. The mine cart is wheeled out for barbecues every Friday and Saturday night in summer. Puzzled about the name? It refers to the local summit of Wetterhorn (3692m).
