Just opposite the lake, a 15-minute walk southeast of Lucerne's train station, this is a soulful place to crash, with art-slung walls, bubbly staff and immaculate dorms with balconies. There's no breakfast, but guests have access to a well-equipped kitchen. Blades and mountain bikes for rent.
