Castello Seeschloss

This is a 13th-century castle turned romantic waterfront hotel in the southeast corner of Ascona's Old Town, complete with flowery gardens and heated outdoor pool. The most extraordinary rooms, some full of frescos, are in the ivy-covered tower.
