Ofvandahls

Something of an Uppsala institution, this musty, worn konditori (bakery-cafe) dates back to the 19th century. Adorned with art nouveau wallpaper, antique furniture and the odd chandelier, it's well known for its studentska, a tartlike pastry filled with chocolate truffle and capped with pistachio icing. A limited offering of savouries includes baguette sandwiches, offered cheaper to students with ID.
