This hostel really feels like what it is – a former prison. Dorm beds are in cells, with heavy iron doors, thick walls, concrete floors and steel lockers for closets. The shower and toilet facilities are somewhat limited, so it’s worth asking if a room with a bathroom is available.
The place is extremely friendly, though, and common areas are spacious and full of well-worn, den-like furniture. There’s a back deck in summer.
