A white-neon rooster welcomes you to Babette, a friendly, compact, boisterous bistro with lipstick-red banquettes, curbside tables and a tiny open kitchen pumping out thin, charred Roman-style pizzas with satisfying crispiness. Pizzas aside, the short, daily changing menu celebrates other Mediterranean flavours, whether it be beans with 'nduja (spicy Calabrian salami), feta cheese and mint, or sea-bass crudo with tomato and oregano.
Wines are on the pricier side, though you'll usually find a glass of something reasonable for 80kr or under.
