Bobergs Matsal

Stockholm

In this restaurant on the top floor of the swanky Nordiska Kompaniet department store, celebrated local chef Björn Frantzén offers a menu of contemporary art-on-a-plate interpretations of traditional Swedish recipes (shrimp salad, cognac-spiced blood pudding, cured salmon), all beautifully assembled. The dining room is fabulous and a culturally protected site, with 100-year-old carved birch wood panelling and twinkling chandeliers.
