If you love Swedish design, make a beeline for the fabulous, fresh and funky Story Hotel, one of Malmö's newest offerings. Exposed concrete walls, heavy red curtains, plush sofas, ocean views and sumptuous suites all tempt you to stay indoors...at least for a sleep-in. All rooms have queen or king beds, muted tones and raindrop showers. Most have wonderful views.
Go for the 'Large Ocean Room' (from 1590) if you can.
