This is an outstanding STF hostel near Stocken in the island’s west, about 5km from the larger village of Ellös. It’s located in an old farmhouse and surrounding little cottages in a blissfully bucolic setting, with good walking, swimming and canoeing nearby. There's free laundry, an excellent breakfast spread, a sauna and two wood-fired hot tubs (book ahead). Catch buses in Henån.
