Sånninggården

At the tiny village of Klippen, about 6km north of Hemavan, the cheery dining room inside the barnlike Sånninggården has a deceptively rustic feel. This is where Sweden’s gourmets come to feast on such local delicacies as reindeer steak, Arctic char fillet with Västerbottens ost (crumbly cheese), and pheasant fillet with chanterelle pie.
