A sprawling complex of a hostel, STF Hemavan is perpetually busy with hikers. The separate blocks are each equipped with a kitchen, and while the rooms are a tad bland, the facilities (cafeteria, swimming pool, obstacle course, lively bar upstairs in the main building) are top notch. Many use this place at the start or finish of their Kungsleden hike.
