If it weren't for the smokestack just north of the property (that you don't see in any of the promotional material), this place, located on the island's east coast about 35km from Visby, would be bang on. In summer, it's really only perfect for kids and families who tend to dominate it's quality facilities – an excellent pool, bar and floating sauna.
In shoulder season, when the kids are at school, the modern, high standard of the cute-as-pie cabins and the lovely pool make it worth a look in, despite the disappointment of the nearby industry.
